He is survived by: his wife Elsie Mae Thomas of Ville Platte; his children, Angela Coutee of Ville Platte, Teresa Coutee Drummer of Baytown, TX, Rachel Coutee Durgin of Beaumont, TX, Ricky Coutee of Cleveland, TX, Sidney Coutee of Ville Platte and Gregory Coutee of Ville Platte; and his siblings, Joyce Semien of Lawtell, John Coutee of Beaver, Shirley Coutee of Lawtell and Atlida Coutee of Cloutierville, LA. He is also survived by sixteen grandchildren; two greatgrandchildren; and a host of uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.
