It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Marlene Faye Douget Landreneau (Mamou, Louisiana), who passed away on May 29, 2023, at the age of 67, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Evans Paul Douget, Sr. and Pearl Marcantel Douget; her husband Jimmie Jude Landreneau; her daughters, Amanda Maria Arnaud and Shannon Yvette Chapman; her grandsons, Jade Fuselier and Brock Landreneau; her brothers, David Douget and Evans Douget, Jr.; and her close friend Jerry Fontenot.
She is survived by: her son Chad Arnaud (Becky) of Vidrine; her stepson Michael Landreneau (Kim) of Vidrine; her grandchildren, Hunter Arnaud (Bobbi McNaughton), Hailey Arnaud, Harlie Arnaud, Celia Vershay, Kelsey Landreneau, Lil Mike Landreneau, Jenna Douzart, Joni Chapman and Tony Rougeau; her siblings, Fredrick James Douget (Vickie), Phillip Carl Douget, Gary Paul Douget, Jeffery Jay Douget, Ronald Wayne Douget (Ann Foret) and Geneva Guillory (Robert); and her half-brother Wilson Douget.
