She was predeceased by: her parents, Kenneth "Caney" Reed and Thea Fontenot Reed; her husband Maxime Fontenot (Edmund Reggie); her grandmother Marie Avenautine Soileau Fontenot; her brother Burkeman Reed; and her nieces and nephews, Catherine Reed Richard, Jerelyn Reed Maricle, Angela Reed Mynarzy, Phillip Wayne Reed and Richard Reed.
She is survived by: her children, Max Fontenot (Josie) of Crowley and Marie Fontenot of Mamou; her nieces, Sheila Reed Ardoin of Ville Platte and Sheryl Reed Richardson of Mamou; and her grandchildren, Jude Fontenot, Lauren Fontenot, Ryan Fontenot, Grace Fontenot, Matthew Fontenot and John Paul Fontenot.
