She was predeceased by: her husband Harold Bertrand; her parents, Walton Fontenot and Lula Fontenot; and her siblings, Rayford, Leo, Walton Jr., Robert, Walter, Wilson and Mayola.
She is survived by: her daughter Brenda Goodson (James) of Lake Charles; and her siblings, James Fontenot (Cora) of Mamou and Dorothy LeJeune of Lake Charles. She is also survived by four step-grandchildren; seven step great grandchildren; and eight step great great grandchildren as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
