He was predeceased by: his parents, Dallas Thomas and Octavia Noel; his former wife Ramona Thomas; and his son Jeran "Bobby" Thomas. He is survived by: the mother of his children Lorine Thomas; his children, Ricky Thomas (Valerie) of Opelousas, Phyllis Fontenot (Ricky) of Mamou and Lisa Thomas Fontenot (Gregory) of Reddell; his stepson Danny Barlow; and his grandchildren, Felicia Thomas, Angel Bradley, Brandon Fontenot, Megan Thibodeaux, Jeremy Thomas, Creshonda Thomas, Logan Thomas, Chloe Fontenot, Katie Thomas and Nicole Thomas. He is also survived by 20 great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Saturday, February 8th 2025 from 8:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Ardoin's Funeral Home (717 6th St, Mamou, LA 70554). A rosary was held on Saturday, February 8th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 10:30 AM at the same location. A Mass of Christian burial was held on Saturday, February 8th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the S. Ann's Catholic Church (716 6th St, Mamou, LA 70554). A burial was held on Saturday, February 8th 2025 at the Ceasar Cemetery.
