It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Johnny Pommier of Mamou, Louisiana, who passed away on August 27, 2020, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. Blanchard, Jr.; his siblings, Ruby Flores, Emily Duke and Clement Pommier; his half-siblings, Joyce Powell, Yourick Guillory, Jr., Rodney Guillory and George Guillory; and his stepsiblings, Berna Kuntze, Bernice Siebert, James Guillory and Burley Guillory.

He is survived by: his wife Betty V. Pommier; his daughters, Debra Blanchard (Richard), Rebecca Fuselier (Thomas), Meretta Melder (Jerry) and Nina Thibodeaux (James); and his grandchildren, Danielle Stafford, Amy Rizzuto, Jacques Fuselier, Elizabeth Boudreaux, Brian Melder, Leah Howard, Kylie Joubert and Katie Joubert.
