Blanchard, Jr.; his siblings, Ruby Flores, Emily Duke and Clement Pommier; his half-siblings, Joyce Powell, Yourick Guillory, Jr., Rodney Guillory and George Guillory; and his stepsiblings, Berna Kuntze, Bernice Siebert, James Guillory and Burley Guillory.
He is survived by: his wife Betty V. Pommier; his daughters, Debra Blanchard (Richard), Rebecca Fuselier (Thomas), Meretta Melder (Jerry) and Nina Thibodeaux (James); and his grandchildren, Danielle Stafford, Amy Rizzuto, Jacques Fuselier, Elizabeth Boudreaux, Brian Melder, Leah Howard, Kylie Joubert and Katie Joubert.
