Though John Brent may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those John Brent touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Anna Menier and Orise Menier; his brother Gary Dean Menier; and his former wife Evangeline Tate. He is survived by: his wife Jennifer Menier; his children, Renee Pitre, Joshua Menier (Lauren) and Angelle Cutrer (Colt); and his brothers, Kirk Menier (Monica) and Kyle Menier (Lola).
A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Friday, October 18th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Our Lady of Mercy Catholic Church (1432 W Landry St, Opelousas, LA 70570).
