She was predeceased by: her husband Deacon Eddie Harris; her daughters, Rosa Lee, Diana Harris, Georgia Harris Stevens of Opelousas, LA and Mary Harris Collins of Houston, TX; her brother Wilfred Fontenot of Houston, TX; and her sons-in-law, Earl Stevens and Walter Collins.
She is survived by: her sons, Edward, Rogers Harris of Mamou, LA and Earnest J. Harris of Opelousas, LA.. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
Due to the continuing health emergency the family of Mrs. Hazel Fontenot Harris respectfully ask that those attending the Celebration of Life for Mrs. Harris adhere to the Pastor and church requirements that face mask/coverings be worn and submitting to temperature checks upon entering the sanctuary.
