She was predeceased by: her parents, Amel Manuel and Lena Manuel; her husband Joseph Murphy Fontenot; and her siblings, Lettelle Manuel, Nelson Manuel, Erose Fontenot and Nedwyn Landry.
She is survived by: her children, Beverly Landreneau (Edward) of Mandeville, Carl Fontenot (Gloria) of St. Francesville and Lynn Fontenot (Mary) of Eunice; her brother J. E. Manuel of Eunice; and her grandchildren, Shelly Fontenot, Jarrod Fontenot, Justin Fontenot, Derek Fontenot, Dwayne Landreneau, Brian Landreneau and Angelle Deboer. She is also survived by fourteen great-grandchildren.
