He is survived by: his wife Susan Gaiennie Gutierrez; his children, Sergio Gutierrez (Ingmar), Maria Rosa Gutierrez (Gary), Vivian Gutierrez (Berta) and Adriana Gutierrez Kriesen (Bryan); his grandchildren, Marina (Ryder), Mary Ellen, Benjamin, Nikolai, Madalyn, Nadal and Natalia; and his brother Oscar Gutierrez.
