It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Peter Louis Gitz Jr. of Madisonville, Louisiana, who passed away on November 29, 2023, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Peter Louis Gitz Sr. and Ellen Raiford Gitz; and his brothers, Ronald Gitz and Terry Gitz. He is survived by: his wife Jo-Ann Bennett Gitz. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, wonderful lifelong friends.
