He is survived by: his daughters, Laurie Melancon (Jeff) and Jamie Kratzer (Matthew); his grandchildren, Allie, Avery Melancon and Rush Kratzer; his brother Stephen Eckerle (Aggie); and his close friend Karen Roach.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 4th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Lake Lawn Metairie Funeral Home (5100 Pontchartrain Blvd, New Orleans, LA 70124). A funeral Mass will be held on Friday, October 4th 2024 at 12:00 PM at the Chapel of Lake Lawn Metairie Funeral Home (5100 Pontchartrain Blvd, New Orleans, LA 70124).
