Melerine Johnson; and his siblings, Nora Summerford, Jane Smith, Edward, Richard Johnson (Betty Jean Kiser), Patton Johnson (Lois "Jenny Ann" Kennedy), Randy Morris Johnson, Sr. and Dale Johnson.

He is survived by: his children, Sharon Ruiz (Brien), Dr. Joy Kenny, Dr. Joe E. Johnson, Jr., Kim Morales (Todd) and John Johnson (Renee); his grandchildren, Brock Smith (Rachel), Sean Kenny (Mike) of Victoria Bagot, JD, Christina Smith JD (Peyton), Matthew Johnson (Lindsey), Kaitlyn Morales, Kerilyn St. Pierre (Jacob), Hunter Morales, Corey, Ryan and Mark Johnson; and also Beatrice Smith. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.
