With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Iris Williams Elfert of Madisonville, Louisiana, born in New Orleans, Louisiana, who passed away on May 2, 2021 at the age of 93. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Rodger A. Elfert; and her parents, Walter Bernard Williams and Ann Johnson Williams. She is survived by: her daughters, Ann Laurie Elfert Bourgeois and Eileen "Bobbie" Elfert Schexnayder (Johnny); her grandchildren, Keith Bourgeois (Susannah), Kris Bourgeois (Cheri), Kirk Bourgeois (Kelly), Gregory Schexnayder (Christie) and Jason Schexnayder; and her great grandchildren, Briana Daniel, Vincent Bourgeois, Emma Rae Bourgeois, Jacques Bourgeois, Charlotte Bourgeois, Joseph Schexnayder, Lilah Ann Schexnayder and Elley Iris Schexnayder. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Donations in Iris's memory to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital are preferred, in lieu of flowers.
