He is survived by: his mother Hazel Sanders; his wife Deborah Quintana Bettencourtt; his children, Gary J. Bettencourtt, II, Desiree Bild (Chris) and Denise Pohlmann (Brandon); and his grandchildren, Gary Alexander Bettencourtt, Allee Bild, Alexa Bettencourtt, Adian Bettencourtt, Dylan Bild and Gary Louis Bettencourtt. He is also survived by five siblings, numerous nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.
