He was predeceased by: his parents, Robley Matthew Perez and Hazel Rivet Perez; and his siblings, Robley and Angela "Polly" Perez. He is survived by: his wife Lula Mae Desormeaux Perez; his children, Marty Perez (Marlene) of Lydia, Craig Perez (Tina) of Lydia, Vince Perez (Susan) of New Iberia and Melissa Perez (Edward Menard, Jr.) of Loreauville; his brothers, Carl Perez (Gloria) of Abbeville, J. C, Ray Perez of Lydia and Huey Perez of Bull Island; and his half-sisters, Velma and Anna Perez. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren; one step-grandchild; nine great-grandchildren.
