He was predeceased by: his parents, Fred Smith, Sr. and Jennie McCutcheon Smith. He is survived by: his close friend Elizabeth "Liz" Lassere; his children, Todd and Tonya Smith; his granddaughter Rachel Ann Smith; his great grandchildren, Stanley Zaiden Smith and Kyson Joseph Harper; and his siblings, Fred Smith Jr., Jimmy Smith (Libby) and Nancy Smith. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
