He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Marcia Adams Matthews; his stepchildren, Kerwin Carter and Ky'Lend Adams; his mother Senoria Matthews; his siblings, Shenell Marshall (Joseph), Durwin Gaines (Cathy), Shenard Matthews and Ray Anthony Matthews (Valencia); his aunt Joycelyn Gaines; his uncles, Lonnie Gaines (Glenda) and Leander Carr (LaVerne); his siblings, Sabrina Matthews and Louis Matthews, Jr.; and his aunt Cora Lee Barney. He was also cherished by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, sisters and brothers-in-law, neighbors other relatives and friends.
