It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Hennis Joseph Roussel Sr. of Lutcher, Louisiana, who passed away on April 5, 2025, at the age of 75, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his wife DeAnna Guedry Roussel; his son Hennis Roussel, Jr.; and his parents, Allen Roussel and Violet Roussel. He is survived by: his children, Jeffrey Roussel, Brian Roussel (Valerie), Craig Roussel and Julie Gilbert (Travis); his grandchildren, DeAnna Gilbert, Brodie Gilbert and Brendon Roussel; and his siblings, Dennis (Gaynell), Jerry (Julie), Terry (Melissa), Kent (Laurie), Brent Roussel and Violet Roussel. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
