She is survived by: her children, Showlatha Foster (Wendy), Marshall Foster, Jr. (Deandra) and Daryl Foster, Sr.; her adoptive son Sheddrian Melancon (Katubei "Desi"); her siblings, Gale Preston (Alton), Barbara Humphrey, Joann Gilliam, Cody Long (Chantel) and Gilliard Long, Jr.; her husband Marshall Foster, Sr.; and her sisters, Victoria Albert, Rainy Mae Perry and Barbara Webster. She is also survived by 14 grandchildren, 6 great-grandchildren, numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
