He was predeceased by: his former wife Bonnie DeFee Daigle; his parents, Cecilia Lillian Zakrzewski and Henry Daigle Jr.; and his sister Catherine Jeanne Daigle Parker. He is survived by: his wife Chauvin; his children, Carolyn Daigle Steel (Kevin) and Douglas Paul Daigle (Sherie); his grandchildren, Matthew Gerard Steel, Michael Patrick Steel and Ryan Paul Daigle; his great grandchildren, Olivia Ann Steel, Julie Ann Steel and Dominic Savio Steel; and his sister Marilyn Daigle Waguespack (Donald). He is also survived by his family, friends.

Visitation was held on Saturday, November 2nd 2024 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Marrero - Mothe Funeral Homes (7040 Lapalco Blvd, Marrero, LA 70072). A Mass was held on Saturday, November 2nd 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Saturday, November 2nd 2024 at 12:45 PM at the St Charles Borromeo Cemetery (13396 River Rd, Destrehan, LA 70047).
