He is survived by: his wife Mae Aucoin Champagne; his children, Regina Champagne Labat (Ray), Renè "Rennie" J. Champagne (Terry) and Gay Champagne Prindle (Kenneth "Rody"); and his grandchildren, Ray Labat III (Ashley), Renè Labat (Kourtney), Ramsey Renè Champagne (Mindi), Ryan Champagne (Ellie), Tayler Prindle Niggemann (Daniel), Jonathan Prindle (Kristen) and Sean Prindle.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church, Luling, LA.
