She was predeceased by: her parents, Ruby Harnage Coker and Paul Coker; and her brother Raymond Coker. She is survived by: her children, Gary Lanier (Sandra Hoffman) and Jamie Lanier (late Lisa); her grandchildren, Lance Lanier, Kevin Lanier, Lindsey Lanier Saluppo (Nic) and Jarin Lanier; her great grandchild Kyler Lanier; and her siblings, Dorothy Walker and Robert Coker (Donna). She is also survived by numerous loving nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
