Merlin T. Edler Jr. Obituary

With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Merlin T. Edler Jr. of Luling, Louisiana, born in New Orleans, Louisiana, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on August 8, 2024 at the age of 81. He was predeceased by: his parents, Merlin T. Edler Sr. and Rita Grosch Edler Durio (Harold); his brother Frank J. Edler; and his great grandchild Beckham Theall. He is survived by: his wife Joycelyn Stentz Edler; his children, Sherry Hartman (Brian), Brandy Maher (Shawn) and Merlin T. Edler III; his sisters, Betty St. John (Bobby) and Darlene Bouvier (Ronnie); and his grandchildren, Ashley Owen (Joe), Jessica Theall (Will), Brian Hartman Jr. (Maddie), Daphne Hartman, Shawn Maher Jr. (Alyssa), Ethan Maher, Amber Edler and Sara Edler. He is also survived by four great grandchildren.
