With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Melvin Lewis Neal of Luling, Louisiana, born in Princeton, West Virginia, who passed away on January 31, 2024 at the age of 85. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Early Edward Neal and Elinor Katherine Dunn Neal; and his siblings, Willie Neal and Mildred Hudgins. He is survived by: his wife Rita Mae Dunn Neal; his children, Tammy Jefferson (Scott), Timothy Neal (Ellie Mae) and Todd Neal; and his grandchildren, Kara Jefferson-Sanchez (Mario), Adam Jefferson, Leslie Jefferson-Remes (Katie), Johnathan Neal, Heather Bailey (Steven), Erica Brown (Tony), Chad Neal, Crystal Earle (Brian) and Priscilla Minnix (Terry). He is also survived by Numerous brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, nieces and nephews.
The family requests donations be made to the SPCA or local animal shelter in lieu of flowers.
