He was predeceased by: his former wife Martha Parks Dugas; his parents, Horace Dugas and Helen Dugas; his children, Manuel V. Dugas Jr. and Deitra Lynn Dugas; and his siblings, Wayne Dugas (late Laura Turner Dugas) and Margaret Hufford (late Johnny Hufford).
He is survived by: his wife Linda Stewart Dugas; his son Dr. Robert Wayne Dugas (Jean); his stepchildren, Melissa Sabathe (Rodney) and Gregory Cannon; his grandchildren, Robert Dugas Jr., Kristie Millard (Michael), Richard Dugas, Katherine Dugas, Lissa Dugas and Laura Golubev (Vladimir); and his stepgrandchildren, Ronald Gilmore III, Taylor Dow, Zachary Sabathe, Tyler Sabathe and Eric Cannon (Megan). He is also survived by 11 great-grandchildren, other relatives and friends.
