He was predeceased by: his wife Lisa Lanier; and his mother Mildred Lanier. He is survived by: his children, Jarin Lanier (Olivia Miller) and Lindsey Saluppo (Nic Saluppo); his brother Gary Lanier (Sandy Hoffman); his nephew Kevin Lanier (Nikki Alcantara); his great-nephew Kyler Lanier; his nephew Lance Lanier; and his friends, Julie Shadrick and Phyllis Guidry. He is also survived by best friend to his son, and also a mentor and father figure to dozens of his son's friends.
