She was predeceased by: her parents, Nolan Melonson, Sr. and Mildred Rue Melonson; her siblings, Geraldine Keys, Margaret McCarthy, Patricia Melonson and Nolan Melonson, Jr.; her daughter Sholonda Melonson-Davis; her grandson Damion Celestine; her great grandchild Samaya Melonson; and her aunt Tee-Eva Loyce Perry.
She is survived by: her children, Tharence White, Brian White, Cleveland Williams, III and Trashon Davis; her sisters, Louise Stepher of New Orleans, LA and Gloria Johnson of Hahnville, LA.; her godchildren, Shanell Smith, Leila Frances and Trinity Williams; and her close friend Theresa Lewis. She is also survived by 5 grandsons, 8 granddaughters, 10 great grandsons, 12 great great granddaughters.
