He was predeceased by: his children, Tami Dorsey and Clarence Dorsey, Jr.; his parents, Easter Dorsey and Hannibal Dorsey; his siblings, Harry Dorsey, Lester Bailey, Sr., George Dorsey, Clemantine Boyd, Grace Dorsey Alexander, Alice Dorsey Evans, Estell Dorsey Irons and Ruth Dorsey McKay; and his parents-in-law, Velma and Perkins Austin.
He is survived by: his wife Barbara Austin; his children, LaTasha Dorsey, Alvin Lyles, Jr. (Marcia), Anthony Dorsey (Verna), Greg Wilson (Roxanne), Terry Scott (Chris), John Wilson (Jeanette) and Ursula Ingram; and his sisters, Geraldine Dorsey Hill and Margaret Dorsey.
In accordance with the CDC guidelines for COVID-19 masks are required for all in attendance.
