It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Andrew Dufrene of Luling, Louisiana, born in Larose, Louisiana, who passed away on September 2, 2020, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Dufrene and Annie Melancon; his son Jacques Pierre Dufrene; his son-in-law William Hart; and his siblings, Tildon, Tillie Bert (Camardelle), Willard, Wilton, Marietta (Flettrich) and Surgene.

He is survived by: his wife Shirley Bergeron Dufrene; his brother Huey Dufrene; his children, Michele Hart, Andre (Jeannette), Antoine and Gisele Robichaux (Danny); his great grandchild Evelyn Hart Lambert; and his grandchildren, Brittany, Jordan, Taylor, Marianna, Emma Hart, Gabriella, Rafael Dufrene, Paris Harmon, Dominic, Jacques Dufrene, Jolie, Mallory, Noah and Seth Robichaux.
