He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard Turner, Jr. and Caroline Hadley; his wife Marian Griffin Turner; his son Allen Turner, Jr.; and his siblings, Ethel Borne, Louis Turner, Sr., Hazel Jackson, Leona Daniels, Bernice Champagne, Rev. Eugene Turner, Wilhelmina Simmons and Bessie T. White.

He is survived by: his daughters, Taranja Tianda Turner and Hazel Turner Richard. He is also survived by relatives and friends.
