It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Thelma L. Broussard of Loreauville, Louisiana, born in New Iberia, Louisiana, who passed away on December 5, 2022, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her mother Lucy Broussard LeBlanc; her husband Roland P. Broussard; her parent Whitney J. LeBlanc; and her sisters, Mozelle Broussard and Ruby Mae Leblanc.
She is survived by: her daughter Susan B. Defelice (David L.) of Loreauville; her grandchildren, Matthew S. Menard, MD (Aja W. Menard, MD) of Shreveport, Lucas M. Menard (Nikki) of Youngsville, Claire Defelice of New Iberia and Michael Defelice (April); and her great grandchildren, Blythe Bull, Benjamin Menard, Edith Menard, Otto Menard, Arlo Menard of Youngsville, Thomas Defelice, Ethan Defelice and Whitney Defelice.
Still active until Covid forced her into solitude, she began to decline again and moved to Maison Teche Nursing Home.
