He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert S. Holtzclaw and Anna Belle Prince Holtzclaw; his former wife Kathleen Latiolais Holtzclaw; and his brother Peter Holtzclaw. He is survived by: his wife Nancy Schneider Holtzclaw; his children, Silas Holtzclaw of Fairhope, AL., Quinlynn Holtzclaw Johnson (Shane) of New Iberia, Emily Robin (Ben Groverman) of Paris, FR. and Tim Robin (Rebecca) of Loreauville; his grandchildren, Matthew, Jordan, Cortland, Chloe, Tyler, Ella, Charley, Aaron, Isaac and Rachel; and his sisters, Pamela Gaspard (Joey) and Sherry Hardy (Danny).
Visitation was held on Thursday, April 4th 2024 from 9:00 AM to 11:15 AM at the David Funeral Home of Loreauville Thursday (118 S Main St, Loreauville, LA 70552). A rosary was held on Thursday, April 4th 2024 at 10:30 AM at the same location. A funeral service was held on Thursday, April 4th 2024 at 11:30 AM at the St. Joseph Catholic Church (117 S Main St, Loreauville, LA 70552). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Friday, April 4th 2025 at 11:30 AM at the same location.
