He was predeceased by: his parents, Wilson Guidry and Anna Guidry; his sister Nolia Guidry Courville; his nephew Julius (Chataignier, Jr.); his niece Anna Faye Broussard; and his brothers-in-law, Julius Chataignier and John Courville, Sr..

He is survived by: his nieces and nephews, Brett Courville (Rebecca), John Courville Jr. (Karen), Rufus Courville (Dodie), Arleen Graffeo (Steven), Margaret Knott (Marius) and Rose Hebert (Ted).
