She was predeceased by: her husband Joseph Leroy Bastian; her parents, Sidney Sonnier and Alena Matthews Sonnier; and her siblings, Beatrice Sonnier, Francis Sonnier and Joseph Sonnier.
She is survived by: her children, Shirley Dailey of Lacombe, LA, Rachel Derouen (Eugene) of Uniondale, NY and Dennis Bastian of Loreauville, LA; her siblings, Hazel S. White, Mary S. Milburn of Lafayette, LA, James Sonnier (Eva Dell) of Carencro, LA and Harold Sonnier (Donna) of Lafayette, LA; and her grandchildren, Joseph Derouen and Angela Derouen Mair. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, masks and social distancing are required at the funeral home, church and cemetery.
