He was predeceased by: his father Donald Bodin; his brother Ricky Bodin; his brother-in-law Edward LeBlanc; and his grandparents, Fernand, Daisy Bodin, Allen and Opal Morgan.

He is survived by: his wife Rene Bodin of Loreauville; his children, Drake Bodin of Loreauville, Kelci Bodin of Loreauville and Karli Bodin of Loreauville; his mother Joyce Morgan Bodin of New Iberia; his brothers, Rusty Bodin (Andre) of New Iberia, Gerald Bodin of New Iberia and Scotty Bodin (Adrienne) of Lafayette; his sisters-in-law, Hollie Bodin of Delcambre and Angela LeBlanc of Hope Mills, NC; his parents-in-law, Jerry and Brenda Gautreaux Gonsoulin of Loreauville; his brother-in-law Darin Gonsoulin (Heather) of Loreauville; and his nieces and nephews, Misty Early (Benjamin) of Broussard, Kade Gonsoulin of Loreauville, Shanna, Tiffany, Katie, Emily, Emma Claire, Jay, Cody, Beau, Eli and Luke.

Due to Covid-19, the Bodin family requests that family and friends wear face masks and practice social distancing while attending the visitation and funeral service.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Greg's family to help defray medical expenses.
