It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Meveline Simmons Scalia of Loranger, Louisiana, who passed away on August 16, 2023, at the age of 97, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry "Bud" Simmons and Marie Simmons; her siblings, Lois Neal, Donis Henderson, Genevieve Ard, Dorothy Baggett and Clyde Henry Simmons; and her husband Sylvester Scalia.
She is survived by: her daughters, Ann Scalia Neal (Bo) and Paula K. Faust (Roger); her grandchildren, Jeffrey Kerr (LaDette), Bryan Neal (Juline), Amy Neal, Jonah Faust and Jeremiah Faust (Kristie); and her great grandchildren, Krislyn Kerr, Kristofer Kerr, Madelyn Smith, Megan Smith, Nicholas Smith, Sylas Faust, Abby Faust and Miah Faust.
