He is survived by: his wife Betty Prevost Blount; his children, Joan Blount Furlow, Lynn Blount Egnew, Clarence Ellis Prevost (Amy), Donald Jason Prevost (Karen) and Peyton Scott Prevost (Sarah); his siblings, Marvelle Blount Pierson, Connie Blount McClendon and Arthur "Butch" Blount; and his close friend Benjamin Salazar. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren.
