He is survived by: his wife Linda Faye Dupueis Barnett; his daughter Gia Whittington (Harold); his grandchildren, Tyler Barnett (Victoria Gullett) and Robin McManus (William); and his great grandchildren, Madeline Barnett, Alice Barnett, Lilly Barnett, Penelope McManus and Piper McManus. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
