She was predeceased by: her daughter Tina Chantell Prevost; and her sister Pat Miller. She is survived by: her husband James Prevost, Sr.; her children, Nathan Prevost, Jacob Prevost (Rebecca), James Prevost (Kimberly) and Patricia Prevost; her sisters, Virginia Newman Jarreau and Elizabeth Newman Theard; and her grandchildren, Cory, Tina (Jacob), Cody, Shawn, Josh (Hannah), Connor Prevost, Emily and Brandon Handy. She is also survived by 4 great-grandchildren and many family members and friends.
Visitation was held on Thursday, February 13th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Ln Hughes Funeral Services (21400 S I - 12 Service Rd, Ponchatoula, LA 70454). A funeral service was held on Thursday, February 13th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
