With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Shirley Simon of Longville, Louisiana, who passed away on September 1, 2024 at the age of 88. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Uriah Trahan and Hattie Trahan; her son Roy Jones; and her siblings, Willie Trahan, Aaron Trahan, Alvin Trahan, Warren Trahan, Sadie Mae Trahan, Gladys Ennis, Nathalie Hebert and Lillie Mae Ducote.
She is survived by: her husband Jessie Simon Sr.; her children, Tina Metcalf (David) and Jessie Simon Jr. (Belinda); and her brother Curtis Trahan (Loretta). She is also survived by eleven grandchildren, twenty-nine great grandchildren, 12 great-great grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.
