She was predeceased by: her granddaughter Brittany Karschnik; and her brother Randy Smith. She is survived by: her husband David Charles Bass, Jr.; her children, Donna Renee Mitchell (Raymond), Pamela "Dolly" Stratton, David C. "Davy" Bass, III (Miriam), Charlotte Denise Bass and Jimmy Daniel Bass; and her sister Shirley Ray (Gene). She is also survived by nine grandchildren and 21 great grandchildren.
