He is survived by: his wife Jackie; his children, Carl Friend, Jr. (Kellie) of Longville, Charles "Chuck" Friend (Bridgett) of Longville, Clarence Friend (Joan) of Longville and Shawnee Atchison of Tennessee; and his siblings, Marshal Friend (Roann) of Wadsworth, OH and Faye Baker of Wooster, OH. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren.
