He was predeceased by: his parents, James Kennedy and Vernie Kennedy; and his sister Jessie Mae Manuel. He is survived by: his wife Mavis Kennedy of Longville, LA; his children, Brett Kennedy of DeRidder, LA and Beverly Kennedy Fontenot of Longville, LA; his sister Mary Ann Flowers of Welsh, LA; his grandchildren, Kevin Kennedy of Elton, LA, Jordan Rush, Faith of Longville, LA and Brian Kennedy of DeRidder, LA; and his great grandchildren, Kylar Rush and Victoria Rush. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, family and friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to either St. Jude Children's Hospital or the American Heart Association.
