It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Bernice Edwards (Longville, Louisiana), born in Ville Platte, Louisiana, who passed away on December 27, 2018, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Freall Edwards; her children, Agis Edwards, Tillman Edwards and Lou Bertha Beleziare; and her grandson Justin Edwards.
She is survived by: her sons, Joel Edwards (Brenda) and Joey Edwards (Kathy); her siblings, Guffie Green (Indiana) of Ville Platte, Louisiana and Nellie Guillory of Eunice, Louisiana; her son-in-law Warren Beleziare of Baton Rouge, Louisiana; her friends, Thelma James, Mary Snipes, Dorothy Green and Laura Thomas; and also Lena Edwards. She is also survived by twenty-three grandchildren, forty great grandchildren; and twenty-one great, great grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
