It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mildred Hildebrand Edwards of Logansport, Louisiana, born in Many, Louisiana, who passed away on September 21, 2022, at the age of 99, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Louis Gady Hildebrand and Minnie Pearl Dees Hildebrand; and her husband Don Edwards. She is survived by: her children, Donna Kay Edwards Smith (Don), Jerry Don Edwards (Nancy), Linda Hightower and Lonnie Murphy; her grandchildren, Jessica Thackston, Marissa Baker, Kallie Hodge, Jordan Torr, Amy Duke, Charlie Edwards, Wendy Vogel, Misty Salard, Frosty Neal, Christy Chandler and Cyndi Scroggs; and her sisters-in-law, Rita Herring, Mary Alice Brasher and Dee Hildebrand. She is also survived by 24 great-grandchildren; 13 great-great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials may be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital or Shriner's Children's Hospital.
