It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Elaine Whitten (Logansport, Louisiana), who passed away on October 7, 2023, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Clayton Whitten and Mary Bell Whitten; and her brothers, EJ Whitten and Raymond Whitten. She is survived by: her children, Ernest "Snake" Claybrook Jr. (Tammy), Richard Claybrook, Sheryl Jones and Karen Daw (Ricky); her sisters, Tula Mae Pope, Maxine Shadoin, Bernice Parker, Laura Booker (Gwinn), Sharon Doty and Debra Jacobs (Carl); her sister-in-law Sandra Whitten; and her grandchildren, Vincent Jones, Alissa of Delaware, Dalayna Daw, Dori Daw and Gunner Claybrook. She is also survived by five great grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews.
