He was predeceased by: his parents, Sidney Morvant Sr. and Edith Morvant; and his siblings, Sidney Morvant Jr., Elery Morvant and Edith Waguespack.
He is survived by: his wife Hazel Morvant; his children, Charlene Samanie (Mike), Mark Morvant (Debbie) and Myra Guidroz (Frank); and his grandchildren, Nicole, Jamie, Lauren, Jill, Jay, Chandler, Nick, Kelly and Mindy. He is also survived by 14 great grandchildren.
