He was predeceased by: his father Robert J. Chiasson Jr.; and his sister Rita Chiasson. He is survived by: his wife Samantha "Sam" B. Chiasson; his son Rhys J. Chiasson (Sadie); his stepchildren, Rance, Mandi and Dylon Matherne; his grandchildren, Hardin and Jensin; his mother Helen Dufrene Chiasson; his siblings, Robert J. "Brud" Chiasson III (Brenda), Russell J. Chiasson and Roxanne C. Cretini (Floyd); and his godchildren, Jonathan Cretini, Casey Lottinger and Carys Lybarger. He is also survived by 11 step-grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews.
