He was predeceased by: his father Gene; and his sister Becky. He is survived by: his wife Marissa Bagala; his son Tristan Paul Bagala; and his mother June Layus Bagala.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to be made to a scholarship benefit fund that has been started in his name.
